Romanian soprano Adela Zaharia is the winner of the First Prize of the Operalia Competition 2017 and has been celebrated as a great discovery since then. The season 20/21 begins for Adela Zaharia with the premiere of the 7 Deaths of Maria Callas by Marina Abramovic under the baton of Yoel Gamzou at the Bavarian State Opera. In autumn she will be singing in several concerts in the corona-changed schedule of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. She will appear as Donna Anna at the Teatro Real in Madrid. With the Munich Radio Orchestra she will sing Giulietta in Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi.
