Biography
Canadian baritone Alexander Hajek has made his mark worldwide with frequent engagements in both Europe and North America. Recently he reprised the role of Lt. Gordon in SILENT NIGHT with the Atlanta Opera, Baron Zeta in DIE LUSTIGE WITWE for the Edmonton Opera and Haydn’s DIE SCHÖPFUNG for the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, which he performed again in March of 2018 with the Richard Eaton Singers. He completed the 2016-2017 season with Germont pèrein LA TRAVIATA for Stadttheater Giessen, and Yuri in Tapestry Opera’s OKSANA G. In the current season he is featured in Giessen in DON GIOVANNI and LA FORZA DEL DESTINO. Mr. Hajek spent several seasons in Germany singing with the renowned Semperoper in Dresden.
