Biography
The young mezzosoprano Alice Marini at the age of nine began piano lessons at the C.I.M. in Verona under the guidance of M° Franco Bignotto at first and later under Professor Maria Cristina Rigoni who prepared her for the entrance examination to the Conservatory F. E. Dall’Abaco in Verona. In 1999 she passed the entrance exam and joined the pianoforte class of Professor Sabrina Reale who prepared her for the Master of Music Degree. Following this, she gave up her piano studies to dedicate herself to her great passion – opera singing. During the opera season at the Arena in 2003, she undertook an eight-week training period with Opera Company “Verona Arena” under M° Fabio Fapanni. In 2004 she obtained top marks in the Maturità Magistrale at the High School of Social Sciences “C. Montanari”
