Biography
She was born in Venezuela and started her musical studies as violinist. She moved to Spain where she studied in "Escuela Reina Sofía" in Madrid with Alfredo Krauss and Teresa Berganza. She also attended master classes with Renata Scotto, Ileana Cotrubas, Tom Krause, Magda Olivero and Vicenzo Spatola. Her career takes off with the succesful debut in Teatro alla Scala di Milano with the role of Odabella in Verdi´s Attila. In recent seasons she sang Nabucco, Macbeth and Il Trovatore at Teatro alla Scala di Milano; Un Ballo in Maschera in Frankfurt; Attila in Theater an der Wien, again Nabucco and Aida,at the Arena de Verona; at the Opera Bastille in Paris and Teatro San Carlo in Naples; a concert version of Attila in Varsovia; Stabat Mater by Dvorak with The Filarmonic Orquest Radio Netherl
