Radebeul, GermanyAndreas Petzoldt was born in 1980 in Leipzig and received his first musical training as a member of the Leipzig Thomanerchores. From 2001 he studied singing at the Dresden University of Music "Carl Maria von Weber" with Prof. Hartmut Zabel. He has an extensive repertoire of works of the baroque, classical to modern. His special interest is the work of Johann Sebastian Bach (cantatas, oratorios and passions) and the opera. As a soloist he worked among others with the Lausitz opera summer 2004 (Haydn: "L'infedeltà delusa") and 2006 (Mozart: "La Finta Semplice"), in the high school production of "The Visit of the Old Lady" by Gottfried von Einem, in the staging the Semperoper in the small scene"We are at home" by Moritz Eggert, in "the fair" by Georg Benda within the Montafon summer of 2008,
