Biography
The lyric soprano Angela Kerrison lives in Switzerland and was born in Botswana. She studied at the University of Cape Town in the College of Music and successfully completed her studies with an opera diploma. She then became a member of the Cape Town Opera Ensemble. In 2005 she won the role of Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni at the UNESCO International Singing Competition in Verona, Italy. 2006-2008 Angela was a member of the International Opera Studio of the Zurich Opera. For the 2007 studio productions she sang Polly in Britten / Gay Der Bettler Oper. In 2008 she was La Didone in Cavalli's La Didone. On the main stage she is likely to take on Verdi Countess Ceprano's in Rigoletto. During this time in Zurich she took part in various singing competitions. She was a finalist in the La
