Biography
Angela Rotondo Soprano Swedish-Sicilian soprano.Born in Stockholm,where she studied at Royal Academy op music.In 1986 Angela made her operatic debut at the Vadstena Academy in Alessandro Melani´s Don Giovanni and in Alessandro Scarlatti´s Palandrana e Zamberlucco. She was later also involved in productions like Massenet´s Don Quixote and Benjamin Britten´s Death in Venice. Immediately after Angela spend several years in Italy where she studied for Sesto Bruscantini,Fernando Bandera and Giovanna Cannetti at the conservatory of Milan.Finalist in competitions like Spoleto and Giuseppe di Stefano and debute in Biella as Abigaille in Nabucco with Nicola Luisotti as conductor. Returning to Sweden in 1998 she made a sensational Imogene in Bellini´s Il Pirata w
