Biography
German soprano Anika Paulick studied with Prof. Elvira Dreßen and Prof. Caroline Stein at the Hochschule für Musik in Leipzig, receiving her masters degree in opera performance in February 2017. Already during her studies, Anika Paulick became a member of the Staatstheather Cottbus. Since the 2012/2013 season she is a guest singer at Leipzig Opera. In December 2015 she stepped in on short notice in as Sandmännchen and Taumännchen (“Hänsel und Gretel”) at Halle Opera with great success. Her repertoire to date includes roles like Ottilie („Im weißen Rössl“), Gretchen („Der Wildschütz“), Hannchen („Der Vetter aus Dingsda“), Ännchen („Der Freischütz“), Primadonna assoluta („Riemannoper“), Freia („Das Rheingold“), 1. Knabe and Papagena („Die Zauberflöte“), 5. Magd („Elektra“), 1. Adelige Waise
