Biography
One of today’s leading sopranos, Annette Dasch regularly appears at the most important international opera houses and festivals. As Jenny in Rise and Fall of the city of Mahagonny at Festival d ‚Aix-en-Provence as well as Elsa in Lohengrin at Bayreuth Festival, replacing Anna Netrebko, German soprano could celebrate major personal successes in summer 2019. Her engagements for the 2020/21 season include Csardasfürstin at the Zurich Opera, her role debut as Alice in Verdi’s Falstaff at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, a gala concert and the Rosalinde in performances of Fledermaus at Semperoper Dresden and the new production of the Merry Widow the Nederlandse Opera Amsterdam.
