Biography
Born in Armenia. 1991-1996 studied at the Russian Gnessin Academy, prof. A. Aizen and P. Lisitsian. 1994-1996 he is a soloist of Moscow New Opera Theatr. 1996-2004 he is also a principal soloist at the Bolshoi Theatr. Performing the roles: Oroveso, Ramfis, Timur, Zaccaria,Gremin, Salieri, Boris, Pimen. His international career began in 1996 after winning the International Competition of vocalists Francesco Vinas in Barcelona, where he won second prize, and spezial prize a contract to participate in the performance on the stage of Gran Teatre del Liceu. In 1999 first prize winner of the Elena Obraztsova Competition, and 3 prize in the Queen Sonia International Competition. He sang on the stages of theaters as: Opera Ahoy Rotterdam, Staadttheatr Klagenfurt, Wiener Staatsoper, Oper Leipzig,
