Brigitta Simon Soprano Brigitta Simon was born in Budapest (Hungary) and received her initial musical education in Győr. After high school graduation, she began her vocal studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where she completed her diploma in Opera singing with summa cum laude (2014), her master’s degree in Lied and Oratorio (2018) and in Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy (Classical Singing, 2018). She has been awarded numerous prizes at national and international singing competitions. In 2009 she was a finalist in the “Operalia” singing competition. As a special prize, Maestro Plácido Domingo invited her with the winners of the Operalia as a guest singer to his concert in Pécs (Hungary), where she was able to sing two arias and two duets with him personally.
