Biography
Mezzo-soprano Caroline Champy-Tursun won 1st prize for singing at the Toulouse Conservatory in 2003, then worked with Rié Hamada and Jane Berbié. Caroline Champy-TursunSince 2003, she has worked with the chamber choir Les Elements (conducted by J. Suhubiette). In 2004, she studied musical theater at the National Theater in Toulouse, notably with Jacques Nichet. She was a finalist in the Marmande competition in 2004 and in Toulouse in 2008, and pre-selected for the Opéralia competition in Quebec the same year. In 2011, she was Orphée (Orfeo et Euridice, CW Gluck) at Odyssud Blagnac and at the Sylvanès festival, then she was the Prince's understudy (Cendrillon, J.
