The Austrian bass Christoph Seidl is an ensemble member of the Oper Köln since 2022/23 after being in the Ensembles of Aalto Musiktheater Essen and Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich. He started exploring the broad repertoire of Richard Wagner as Fafner in Rheingold with Concerto Köln under the baton of Kent Nagano in the Philharmonie Köln and Concertgebouw Amsterdam and sang also Fafner in Siegfried and Daland. Furthermore you can find roles like Sarastro, Commendatore, Count Waldner in Arabella, Baculus in Lortzing's “Der Wildschütz”, Alidoro in Rossini's “La Cenerentola”, Sparafucile and Colline in his broad repertoire.
