Biography
The young german Bass is one of Germany's hopefully upcoming talents. Praised for his sonor voice and his fine-characterized role-playing he has already been invited to the opera-houses in Zurich, Berlin (Staatsoper), München and Bayreuth. His repetoire includes over 20 roles in 6 languages from classical to modern repertoire. As a native speaker he is frequently asked for german roles like Sarastro and Eremit, but also for low Verdis like Sparafucile, Tom, Un Frate and Marchese/Grenvil, Mozarts Bartolo (Figaro), Masetto and Publio as well as Zuniga, Colline, Judge (Jenufa) and Quince (Midsummernight's Dream), and for the modern repertoire Soljony, Arnold and Bom. He has been a member of the ensemble of the Staatsoper Hannover since 2010.
