Daniel Ohlmann was born in Germany, but grew up in Canada, where he completed his Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at the University of Toronto, under the guidance of Jean MacPhail. An international Scholarschip brought him to Glasgow, Scotland, where he earned his Master of Music at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, under the tutelage of Peter Alexander Wilson. Daniel rounded off his studies with the Jeunes Voix du Rhin, the Opera Studio of the Opera National du Rhin in Strasbourg, France. In the last year, Daniel has studied intensively with the internationally renowned Tenor, Franco Farina. From 2002-2006, Daniel was a member of the Staatstoper Stuttgart, which was then "Opernhaus des Jahres". As a young lyric tenor, he performed such roles as Narraboth in Salome,
