The Argentine Austrian soprano Daniela Tabernig is one of the most acclaimed opera singers of her generation. Praised by many for the expressive ability of her voice, she has a remarkable international career. She won the Best Singer Award granted by Music Critics Association and the Honour Diploma from the Konex Foundation (Argentina) as one of the five most important singers of the decade. Daniela Tabernig was born in Santa Fe, Argentina. She graduated with honours both from the Teatro Colón Institute in Buenos Aires, Argentina and from The National Conservatory “Maria Callas” of Athens, Greece.
