Voir la distribution et l'équipeDavid Zimmer was born into a German-Czech family and grew up in Berlin. He studied the double bass at the Academy of Music „Hanns Eisler“ in Berlin and played in various orchestras, e. g. under Zubin Metha, Sir Simon Rattle and Sebastian Weigle. At the same time he pursued his vocal studies with the teachers Jacek Pazola and Carl Tanner. He is currently studying with Neumar Starling. From 2012 to 2017 David Zimmer was engaged as lyrical tenor at the Landestheater Coburg. There he developed an extensive repertoire and sang roles such as Belmonte, Narraboth and 4th Jew (Salome), Nemorino, Camille de Rosillon (The Merry Widow), Fenton in Nicolais The Merry Wives of Windsor and the Italian singer in Rosenkavalier.
