Biography
Edward Mout is a tenor who has been praised for his entertaining stage presence and his &ldquomellifluously youthful tenor”. Since 2011 he has been a member of the ensemble of the Staatsoper Hannover, where he has performed numerous roles including Beppe/I pagliacci, Monostatos/Die Zauberflöte, Flute/A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Goro/Madame Butterfly, Shabby Peasant/Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, Pedrillo/Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Vater Mignon/Die Teufel von Loudon, and Mime/Das Rheingold. In 2015 he performed Bob Boles in Peter Grimes with Opéra de Nice and covered the roles of Torquemada in L’heure espagnole and Le théière/Le petit vieillard/La rainette in L’enfant et les sortilèges with Glyndebourne Festival Opera.
