Ver reparto y equipoBorn in South-Korea, Hayoung Lee studied at the Korean National University of Arts, and at the National Opera Studio, London. As she was a member of the Royal Opera House Jette Parker Young Artists Programme. (2002 to 2005) she has been singing at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden roles such as Naiade/Ariadne auf Naxos, Lucia/The Rape of Lucretia, Bubikopf in Viktor Ullmann’s opera Der Kaiser von Atlantis and the title role of La princesse Orphée by Philip Glass. In 2005 she represented Korea in the prestigious BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition and won the Audience Prize. In April 2009 she was awarded the Dr. Wilhelm Oberdörffer prize as new artistic talent. In September 2005 she joined the Ensemble at Hamburg State Opera where she performed, among others, Violetta/La Traviat
