Biography
ENGLISH Heidi was born in Vancouver where she earned an Artists Diploma in Opera Performance from the Vancouver Academy of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Trinity Western University. As part of her studies she participated in masterclasses given by Stuart Hamilton, David Shefsiek and Ben Heppner.She made her debut as Donna Elvira in the Vancouver Academy Summer Opera’s 2007 production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Since then she has gone on to sing roles with Burnaby Lyric Opera, Opera Pro Cantanti, Opera Appassionata in Canada and the Lyric Opera Studio Weimar in Germany. In 2008 Ms. Peters was invited to Italy to sing as a member of Centro Studi Lirica during the Voce nel Montefeltro Festival, where she worked with Ms. Patenaude-Yarnell and Maestro Ubaldo Fabbri. I
