Biography
Italian/Colombian born into a family of filmmakers, Hyalmar Mitrotti made appearances in important TV commercials as a child. He naturally studied Cinema and Theatre at the Université de Montréal (Canada) and at the Sorbonne (France). Also passionate about music from a young age, he entered the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (UK) thanks to the financial support of the Sidney Perry Foundation. His teachers were Robert Dean, Graham Johnson, SusanMcCulloch, Peter Robinson, among others. Laureate of the Léopold Bellan Competition (1st prize) and UFAM Competition (2nd prize) in France. While studying with Lionel Sarrazin, he took part in master-classes by Opera stars like Ruggero Raimondi, Teresa Berganza, Sarah Walker, François Leroux, Michel Sénéchal, Emma Kirkby, Paul Esswood, Jean Phil
