Biography
Stage director, sets and costumes designer, film writer and director. Isabelle Partiot-Pieri graduates as an architect at Paris National Fine Arts School with a multi-functional opera building project mixing opera and cinema in the Paris Parc de la Villette in Paris transformed into a ‘musical garden’. Alongside his work as an architect, she assists opera directors and designers, and devotes to opera after being assistant for the recording and film of Francesco Rosi - Carmen (1983, L. Maazel, J. Migenes, P. Domingo, R. Raimondi). Concerning opera films, she is then assistant for the recording and shooting of Luigi Comencini - La Bohème (1987) and shares the casting work with Andrzej Zulawski for Boris Godounov (1989, R.
