JASMIN SOLFAGHARI was born in Freiburg, Germany and spent her first six years in Tehran, Iran. She studied stage directing in Hamburg under Götz Friedrich and established herself as an international opera director. She was in leading positions at Stadttheater Bremerhaven, Deutsche Oper Berlin and as Professor at Musikhochschule Leipzig. She gives masterclasses and lectures widely in Italy, Brasil, Israel, Germany, the United States and China. She holds masterclasses and lectures for opera singers in several languages. Jasmin Solfaghari is head of the opera/musicaltheatre - department at PAMY Mediaproductions. Jasmin Solfaghari started as an author of the German versions (different German dialects) "Opernführer für Einsteiger" at publisher Schott in 2017. The English Version "Opera Guid
