Biography
Actor as well as singer – he studied also acting -, Jean-François Vinciguerra resumed his singing studies at the CNSM in Paris in Michel Roux’s class, then at the the Atelier Lyrique of the Paris Opera, led by Michel Sénéchal. With this double background, he quickly stood out on most stages: Bastille Opera, Opéra Comique, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Avignon, Saint-Etienne, Metz, Reims, Tours, Marseille, Rennes, Limoges, Nantes, Nice, Rouen, Toulon… He has also been invited abroad: Monte-Carlo, Liège, Seoul, New Delhi, Lisbon… Among his vast repertoire, let us quote Bartolo (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Dulcamara (L’Elisir d’amore), Jupiter (Platée), Méphistophélès (Faust), the Four Vilains (The Tales of Hoffmann), the Count Capulet (Romeo and Juliet), Don Pedro (Beatrice and Benedict), Geron
