Biography
Johannes Schwendinger comes from Bregenz, where he made his debut at the Festspielhaus as Shepherd in G. Puccini's Tosca at the age of 14. At the University of Music Vienna he obtained his master's degree in opera and music theater (Regine Köbler) and studied song and oratorio with KS Robert Holl in the master’s course. Further impulses from master classes with Bernarda Fink, Gabriele Lechner and Andreas Mitschke, among others. Johannes Agenda 2019 is emblematic of his wide-ranging repertoire. He portrayed Frank from Strauss's classic opera "Die Fledermaus", Dr. Bartolo in Mozart's master opera "Le Nozze di Figaro", Prince Pepito in the world premiere of Jörg U. Krah's children's opera "Princess LiebdieLiebe" and sings in the Musikverein with the Concentus Musicus alongside Florian Bösch M
