Biography
Jorge Navarro Colorado studied classical singing and opera at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and completed his training in the Britten-Pears and Samling programs. Engagements in 2023/2024 include The Messiah with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao conducted by Aarón Zapico and with the Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla at the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, Stravinsky's Pulcinella with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Handel’s Alcina (Oronte) in Berlin with Lautten Compagney, Haydn’s Die Schöpfung with the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya (OBC) at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona and Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Grange Festival in England. In the 2022/2023 season, Jorge performed as Goffredo in Handel's Rinaldo with Capel
