Young Dutch soprano Julia Westendorp recently made her début as Susanna at Opera Vlaanderen. Previously she debuted the part of Pamina with the same company. The Dutch National Opera, the Dutch Touring Opera and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra are among the other employers Ms. Westendorp has been singing for in recent years. Previous roles include Sylvia (L'isola disabitata / Dutch Touring Opera), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Nicolette (L'amour des trois oranges / Dutch National Opera), Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro / Dutch Touring Opera) and Erster Knappe (Parsifal / ZaterdagMatinee). She has worked with conductors such as Jaap van Zweden, Louis Langrée, Jan Willem de Vriend, Bruno Weil and Tomás Netopil, and orchestras such as the Radio Philh
