Biography
The Korean baritone Julian Younjin Kim was a permanent ensemble member of the Saarländisches Staatstheater in the Season 17/18. He began his artistic career with a bachelor's degree (singing and music pedagogy) at the Kyung-Hee University in Seoul, Korea. After his arrival in Germany he took his master's degree in opera singing at the University of Music in Freiburg under Prof. Angela Nick, then graduated with the soloist diploma with Award 2015. While studying, he has been a guest at the Stadttheater in Freiburg for several roles as well as Count Ceprano "Rigoletto", wiggle maker "Ariadne auf Naxos" and children's opera "Das Sängerkrieg der Heidehasen". As Frank "Fledermaus" in Stadttheater Chur and Lindau and as a forester "The Cunnning Vixen" in Wangen. In the summer of 2016 he debute
