A “Buhnentier (stage animal)” (Musik Theater) with "a voluptuous timbre and virtuosic coloratura" (Diapason), French soprano Julie Fuchs has established herself as one the most exciting opera singers of her generation; dazzling audiences across the world’s premiere opera houses and concert halls. Winner of three Victoires de la Musique awards (including Opera Singer of the Year in 2021), second prize at Operalia in 2013, and Chevalier de l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres, her repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary music with a focus on Mozart and Bel Canto heroines. Julie’s 2023/24 season begins with a return to the Opéra national de Paris as Norina in Don Pasquale. She then makes her first role debut of the season as Gilda in Verdi's Rigoletto at Madrid's Teatro Real, and later in
