Biography
French mezzosoprano Juliette Mars is a regular guest at theatres such as the Theater an der Wien, the Vienna Volksoper Wien, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris and the Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse. The current seasons brings for her three role debuts at Theater an der Wien, Barena (Janáček: Jenufa), Irmentraud (Lortzing: Der Waffenschmied) and Madame Lisette Raquin (Picker: Therese Raquin) as well as her company and role debut as Suor Infirmiera (Puccini: Suor Angelica) at the Salzburger Festspiele under the baton of Franz Welser-Möst in a new staging by Christof Loy. She will also return to Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse in the 2022/23 season. In the 2020/21 season she returned to the Theater an der Wien as Natalia in a new production of Leoncavallo’s rarely performed opera Zaza. In O
