Biography
Born in South Korea, he began his vocal training at Hanyang University in Seoul and later at the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence. He received a scholarship from the Accademia at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence, where he made his debut as Schaunard/LA BOHEME. Min Kim was a finalist and winner of numerous singing competitions, including Maria Caniglia di Sulmona 2016, Andrea Chénier in Foggia, Riccardo Zandonai in Riva del Garda and at the Concorso Corradetti in Padova 2021 and at the Concorso Voci per Mascagni in Livorno. Last season Min Kim debuted the role of Silvio/I PAGLIACCI and Anatolio/AL MULINO by Ottorino Respighi at the Teatro Verdi Trieste. Future projects include, among others, Capitan Spavento/LE MASCHERE by Pietro Mascagni at the Teatro Goldoni in Livor
