Biography
BIOGRAPHY, KATHARINA AJYBA SOPRANO Young rising soprano Katharina Ajyba started her vocal studies at the University of Arts of her hometown Gomel/Belarus. She continued her studies at the Universities of Minsk/Belarus, Hannover/Germany and Cologne with Klesie Kelly-Moog. In 2013 she graduated with distinction. In addition she attended Masterclasses with Barbara Bonney, Marlies Petersen and Peter Berne. Already as a student she was engaged regularly as a soloist by the Gomel Symphony Orchestra and the Belarus State Orchestra Minsk. In 2012 - still a student – Katharina became a regular soloist member of Landestheater Detmold where she performs roles like Gretel in„Hansel und Gretel“, Pamina in „Die Zauberflöte“, Adina in „L'elisir d'amore“, Musetta in „La Bohème“, Adele in „Die Fle
