Renowned young mezzo-soprano, Krysty Swann, has been hailed for her beautiful, rich voice, as well as her captivating presence on stage. The Washington Post extolled, “Krysty Swann has a voice, and she knows how to use it… [She] displayed an instrument of immense power, natural beauty of tone and luscious legato line!” Born in Philadelphia and raised in Detroit, Krysty Swann arrived in New York City to pursue her professional career and was shortly thereafter featured on the cover of Opera News with the great Dolora Zajick. Her latest 2016 engagements include Mozart's Requiem at Carnegie Hall and Verdi's Requiem at Lincoln Center. She will also perform in the new and acclaimed opera Yardbird.
