Laila Salome Fischer, born in Berlin in 1989, received her first vocal coaching at the age of eight years and gained her first stage experiences at Berlin' Komische Oper Children's Chorus, where she was a soloist in performances conducted by Yakov Kreizberg and Vladimir Jurowski. From 1999 until 2006, Laila Salome Fischer was a Youth Student at Julius-Stern-Institut of Universität der Künste Berlin in Jutta Schlegel's vocal class and immediately after her A-levels in 2006, enrolled her vocal studies at Universität der Künste Berlin with Julie Kaufmann, which she will graduate in the summer of 2012 singing the title role in Cavalli's La Calisto. While still at school, she was awarded with First Prizes at Jugend Musiziert Competition/Germany, First Prize at the Deutsche Bahn Compe
