Biography
Lauren Easton is a Mezzo Soprano from Sydney, Australia. As a versatile musician and performer she has sung as a soloist and ensemble member on prestigious stages around the world covering genres from Baroque to contemporary Classical, to Musical Theatre and Gospel. The various awards Lauren has received to date include the 2001 Sony Foundation Music Scholarship in conjunction with the University of New South Wales School of Music, the 2006 Australian Singing Competition Goethe Institut Prize for German Studies, the Sydney Omega Ensemble Prize as their 2007 guest artist and the David Harper Coaching Prize to be held in either Sydney or London, first place in the 2008 Friends of the State Opera SA Inc.
