Biography
Laurent Kubla began his vocal studies with Italian tenor Carlo Bergonzi, and Italian bass Bonaldo Giaoitti. At the age of 27, he met Italian baritone Enzo Sordello, with whom he continued to develop his vocal technique until the Maestro passed away in 2008. He then pursed his studies with Belgian bass-baritone Nicolas Christou. Laurent Kubla studied as well with Italian soprano Alessandra Rossi - de Simone, who introduced him with the Rossini repertoire and taught him the technical base to face the most requiring roles of this specific repertoire. He perfected his abilities as well with leading Belcanto Basso buffo Bruno de Simone. Laurent Kubla made his debuts in 2010, singing Schaunard at the Opera Royal de Wallonie.
