Biography
The bass singer Lennart Forsén studied at the Royal Music and Opera Academies in Stockholm and made his operatic début in The Maid of Orléans at the Royal Swedish Opera in 1986. He has appeared in leading rôles in La Bohème, Lohengrin, Parsifal, Tannhäuser, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Aida, Don Giovanni, Die Zauberflöte, Tristan und Isolde, Das Rheingold, and Der fliegende Holländer at the Royal Swedish Opera and at the International Vadstena-Academy, Malmö Opera och Musikteater, GöteborgsOperan, and Folkoperan Stockholm, with guest appearances at Oper Leipzig, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Finlands Nationalopera, Théâtre de la Monnaie Bruxelles, Oper Frankfurt, Oper Hannover, and the Salzburger Festspiele.
