Biography
Magdalena Hinterdobler has been a member of the Frankfurt Opera ensemble since the 2023/24 season, where she made her highly acclaimed debut as Eva (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg) and was celebrated as Elisabetta (Don Carlo). In the current season, she can still be seen there as Chrysothemis (Elektra). Previously, the soprano was a member of the Leipzig Opera ensemble, where she performed alongside the Gewandhaus Orchestra in roles such as Rusalka, Mimì (La Bohème), Marie (The Bartered Bride), Micaëla (Carmen) and in various Wagner roles, including Ortlinde, Dritte Norn and Gutrune (Der Ring des Nibelungen). Her interpretation of Anna in the world premiere of Gerd Kühr's “Paradiese” also received special attention, for which the Süddeutsche Zeitung celebrated her as an "erotic eleme
