Biography
French Mezzo Soprano Marie Hamard stands out for the warmth of her voice and her facility in the colorature. She is finalist in the Vivonnes singing competition (oct 2014) and in the Beziers competition (apr 2015). In march 2016, she is invited to take part to the “Britten Pears Young Artist Programme” in Aldeburgh with Dame Ann Murray, Sir Thomas Allen et Roger Vignoles. Among her future projects, Marie Hamard will sing Ariel in the Purcell's Tempest with Cantatio Ensemble in November. She will also be part of the Jennifer Larmore 's Master Class in Luxembourg with Nei Stemmen. She is a scholarship holder of the FOCUNA fondation. In April 2017 she will be Anita in West Side Story and in July, she will sing the Rossini's Petite messe Solennelle in the Festival Lyrique of Montperreux (
