Biografi
The Romanian tenor Marius Zaharia was born in Timisoara (Temesvar) in Romania, a beautiful city on the Bega River also called „The little Vienna”. Mr. Zaharia went to college in the same city and received a Bachelor’s degree in music with a major in vocal performance from The West University of Timisoara – School of Music, and a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Theology. He has studied with renowned opera singers such as: soprano Lentina Văduva, soprano Nelly Miricioiu, baritone Carlos Almaguer , tenor Corneliu Murgu, and with conductors David Crescenzi and Christian Sandu. In 2008 Marius Zaharia was employed at the National Opera House from Timisoara, and since then he has performed with different institutions several important roles such as: Alfredo in La Traviata by Giuseppe Ve
