The young mezzo-soprano Marlene Lichtenberg was born in South Tyrol, Italy. After her formation as primary school teacher, she studied at Mozarteum Salzburg and at the Janacek Academy in Brünn, Czech Republic with Mr. Richard Novák (vocal music) and with Mr. Lubomir Matl (choral conducting). Currently, Marlene Lichtenberg works with Ms. KS Brigitte Eisenfeld in Berlin, Germany. The mezzo-soprano gathered her first experiences on stage in Catania as the first Magd/Elektra under Will Humburg in Turin, as Maddalena/Rigoletto in Kosice, as Ulrica/Un Ballo in Maschera under Peter Dvorsky, in Liberec as Carmen/Carmen and in Bad Hersfeld as Fenena/Nabucco.
