Biography
Aleh Lessoun graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music majoring in piano solo in1996 (class of V. Nekhaenko), later he got his degree in opera and symphonic conducting from the same academy in 2001(class of the Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus Nikolai Koliadko). Aleh started his career at the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus as an opera accompanist in 1996. From 1999 to 2011, he became a conductor at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. He is musical director of such productions as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Boris Pavlovsky, Paquita (Grand pas) by Ludwig Minkus, Chopiniana to the music by Frédéric Chopin, Macbeth by Kuznetsov, Gaetano Donizetti's Rita, ou le mari battu, Coffee cantata by J.
