Biography
The Baritone Orhan Yildiz was born in Samsun Turkey. He graduated from the Mersin Conservatory in 2002, where he studied under the tutelage of the Polish tenor Roman Werlisnki. While still studying at the Conservatory Mr Yildiz joined the Mersin State Opera in 2000, where he had the chance to debut his first important roles. In 2002 he was the 3rd prize winner of the Siemens Voice Competition in Istanbul, which awarded him a scholarship to attend the prestigious Cnipal Opera Studio of the Marseille State Opera in France. While in Marseille Mr Yildiz worked under the tutelage of the famous Mezzo Yvonne Minton while also expanding his concert repertoire by performing regionally in cities such as Marseille and Avignon. In 2004 he was the winner of the Jury price of the prestig
