A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music (of which he is a Fellow), Peter was also a student of the National Opera Studio. He began his career at Glyndebourne and as principal tenor at Welsh National Opera, where his repertoire centred on main tenor roles by Bellini, Donizetti, Mozart, Puccini and Verdi. Over time, his voice developed into the more dramatic German repertoire. A long standing guest artist at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Peter’s roles have included Arturo in Donizetti’s "Lucia di Lammermoor", Cassio in Verdi’s "Otello", Pedrillo in Mozart’s "The Abduction from the Seraglio", Andres in Berg’s "Wozzeck", Selem in Stravinsky’s "T
