Biography
The Soprano Regine Sturm, born in Baden-Württemberg, studied at the University Mozarteum Salzburg and at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Maria Anna Schartner, Rowena Cowley, Eike Gramss (music theater) and Breda Zakotnik (song and oratory). After graduating in 2010, Regine Sturm became part of the permanent ensemble of the Theatre for Niedersachsen in Hildesheim. In 2014, she moved on to the Theatre Bremerhaven. 2017/18 she joined the Opera Chemnitz as an artist in residence. During those years, she acquired a broad repertoire as soubrette, lyrical and lyrical coloratura soprano. Her repertoire includes the parts of Susanna, Musetta, Nannetta, Lisette, Oscar, Adele, Norina, Euridice, Maria (West Side Story) und Solveig.
