Biography
Soprano Sara Hershkowitz is a native of Los Angeles, California and is the recipient of two nominations in Opernwelt for Singer of the Year, both for her portrayal of Zaide in the German Premiere of Mozart/Czernowin’s Zaide Adama, and for Donna Anna in Don Giovanni. In 2017 she debuted as Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos with the Nordnorsk Oper, and has also been heard in roles such as Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier, The Governess in Turn of the Screw, the Infantin Donna Klara in Zemlinsky’s Der Zwerg. In 2016 Ms. Hershkowitz celebrated a unique success portraying the four female heroines Stella/Olympia/Antonia/Giulietta in Les Contes Hoffmann in Wuppertal.
