Winner of the 2009 Kathleen Ferrier Competition, soprano Sarah-Jane Brandon studied at the Benjamin Britten International Opera School at the Royal College of Music, and was a participant on the Salzburg Festival’s Young Singers Project in 2011. In the 2016/17 season, Sarah-Jane will return to the Semperoper Dresden for her role debut as Antonia in a new production by Johannes Erath of Les contes d’Hoffmann; she will reprise her acclaimed performance as Contessa Le nozze di Figaro conducted by Omer Meir Wellber and she will make her debut at the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, Lisbon as Micaela Carmen; returning for Donna Clara in a new production of Der Zwerg.
