Biografi
Sari Nordqvist is Finnish dramatic mezzo-soprano, and working as a Freelancer. She had an Master of music -degree 1999 from Sibelius Academy. Her debut as an operasinger was 1994 in Tampere Opera production of Gluck's Iphigenie en Aulide, Clytemnestre's role. Finnish National Opera debut she made 1999 in the role of Vera Boronel (Menotti: The Consul). Lappeenranta Singing Competition she had the second prize 2002. Finnish Opera Union's prize The Operasinger of the year 1998 she got for the role of Ulrica (Verdi: Un ballo di mascera).
