Sergiu Saplacan

He was also enthusiastic about the "Hamburger Abendblatt" and the "Online Musik Magazin", which described his tenor voice as "radiant" and "warm, naturally flowing". About his highly acclaimed Nemorino (»L'elisir d'amore«), »Pivot Point Culture Salzburg« wrote that Sergiu Saplacan listened to »noble, sometimes seductively bronze shimmering tenor material« and »played the young lover with verve and sensitivity«. In the 2016/17 season, Sergiu Saplacan made his debut at the Staatsoper im Schiller Theater Berlin as Gastone in »La traviata« and in the opera »Ariadne auf Naxos«. Further engagements take him back to the Estonian National Opera in Tallinn
