Biography
Sylvia Rena Ziegler studied with Lani Poulson and Prof. Gudrun Fischer at the  University of Music “Franz Liszt” in Weimar. Immediately after completing her degree she became a member of the Stuttgart State Opera's renowned Opera Studio, where she sang numerous opera parts, such as Oberto (Alcina), Zweite Dame (The Magic Flute), as well as Blumenmädchen and Stimme aus der Höhe (Parsifal), Annina (La Traviata), Zweite Magd (Elektra), Laura (Luisa Miller) und Sœur Mathilde (Dialogues des Carmelites). In the 2013/2014 season Sylvia Rena Ziegler became an ensemble member of the Theater Magdeburg, where she has since performed, amongst others, the roles of Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia) and Hänsel (Hansel und Gretel), and
